Garrett Stephen Day is a Personal Trainer/Wellness Coach.
He has been in the business for 8 years. While going
through college, he pursued his fitness goals by working
as a trainer at a private gym in Laguna Niguel. Trained
under Steven Bohnstedt (former Mr. Universe), Garrett has
undergone vigorous training programs and is committed to
excellence not only to himself, but to his clients also.
His 4 ½ year contribution to the gym was a success, and
soon was on his way to becoming a well-known trainer
through the community.
Garrett had another opportunity to become a wellness
coach and trainer at the Montage resort in Laguna Beach
(America’s only 5 star spa according to Mobile
Travel Guide). Trained under David Dorian Ross for 2
years, (Olympic Gold Medalist in Tai Chi, and best
selling author.) He now added a whole new approach on his
training programs. His passion of learning new techniques
and skills has opened himself up for any opportunities
that come his way.
Well known for his strength training background, he has
taken his body to extreme measures from bodybuilding
status with 5% body-fat, to 15% for power lifting.
Garrett Day’s passion of active sports has taken
him in all different directions. His wrestling background
has earned him several 1st place medals and has opened up
doors for the world of mixed martial arts. Football and
baseball were 2 other sports that he has excelled in.
Taking these sports to the next level, he has earned
himself all CIF status. Garrett currently trains in
boxing under Genero Hernandez (world championship boxer)
and is pursuing a career in the profession of mixed
martial arts. He is now also training fighters for
strength and conditioning purposes. Garrett is now
pushing his body to the limit again with a goal body fat
of 7%. His Knowledge in nutrition has helped the process
of his goal. His hunger for knowledge is ongoing and will
benefit anyone around him who is searching for the same
passion.
